It all began with one man! Edward McEnaney. Born in 1877, McEnaneys bar is one of Belfast's longest running pubs, serving patrons since 1908. A traditional Irish bar with a twist, we offer something for everyone, from cold beers and custom cocktails to fine food and private parties.

The bar is known locally as 'The Gravedigger Arms' due to its close proximity to Milltown cemetery. Milltown Cemetery opened in 1869 and there are approximately 200,000 of Belfast's citizens buried there. Milltown Cemetery is filled with people from every walk of life and every level of society. It is filled with artsts, painters, musicians, craftsmen, footballers, hurlers, doctors, nurses all of whom have contributed to making Belfast the city it is today
